Lost Dog - Chipie (Jimmie Simpson Park)

Hi,

My visiting niece lost her 4 year-old cute Yorkshire yesterday night, July 17,  at around 10 pm at our place.
We live on Booth Avenue in front of Jimmie Simpson Park. She took off from our house.

Her name is Chipie (Shee-Pee). Her hair is 2 inch long, her coat is grey, brown and black. She's wearing a red plaid collar with two phone numbers with area code 514 (she's from Montreal).

If you find her you can call us at 416-462-0459 or 416-462-0670 (she was visiting us in Toronto).
Here's a picture of a dog that looks just like her.

Thanks in advance,

Nathalie

Found Kitty! (Queen East/Jones)

This cat found me on July 7 while feeding the semi-feral kitties in the neighbourhood, (we feed them, fix them & if they're adoptable, find them homes). Neighbours think he's been around for about 2 weeks.  He was very dirty, with some bad mats in his long hair (since removed), skinny, hot & thirsty. However despite this, he acts like a lost pet, wants to run inside, responds to calling & he's affectionate but scared. Vet thinks he's about 1 -1 1/2 years old, weighs 5 lbs (skinny) and he is already neutered. Since we found no obvious fleas, we think someone has given him flea meds in the past month,.Sadly he has no collar nor is he micro chipped.Someone should be missing this dude!

Lost Cat (Broadview/.Dundas)

Hello. I've lost my cat Helen. She's a 12 year old calico, with a droopy ear and a brown spot next to her nose. She wasn't wearing a collar, but she has a microchip. I last saw her late last night. I live at 103 Boulton Ave., near Broadview and Dundas. Helen is an indoor cat, but we're afraid she somehow got out.

I appreciate any help you can give. I adore this cat and I'm devastated. Feel free to contact me by email or at 416-561-1361.

Thanks.
Sincerely,
Lisa Levy

Lost Dog (White Maltese)

My precious 5 lbs white male maltes walked out of the house on Wed June 30th at around 10:00AM.

We received a call around 2:00pm, as we posted lost dog posters all around, and the caller said that she saw our dog wondering on the street and a male in a red car picked him up.

The male told her that he will post a found dog in the area and will attempt to return the dog.  We have not heard anything and miss our baby terribly.

Please help us find our baby, we miss him and want him back.

Spotted Doggy (Cummer Ave)

Today while walking my dog near my house on Cummer Avenue at around 8:30-9pm I saw a lone white, brown-orange-patched dog, medium sized, (I'm pretty sure it was a Basset Hound but I couldn't get very close to it) walking calmly down the sidewalk by the houses on the other side of the road (around 505 Cummer Avenue). Assuming the owner was behind it, I waited and watched it pad down the sidewalk --- no owner. I followed it the best I could but the stoplights slowed me down. It walked past the Petro Canada gas station, ran across the road and passed several houses. The closest I could get to it was around 40-50 meters. I tried to make up some ground and close the distance, but once it saw me coming after it, it started running down Cummer Avenue. It tore across the road, turning left into Conacher Drive. By the time I got there, there was no trace of it. It could have gone anywhere --- Conacher Drive led to another intersection between it and Risebrough Drive. Hopefully it made it home safely; some dogs can find their way. Or maybe it was just taking a leisurely stroll through the neighbourhood. I hope to hear about this dog soon.
